Building Surveying

As qualified building surveyors we are able to assist with various issues or specific requirements you may have in relation to building and general property surveying. This would include the following;

  • Inspecting and Reporting upon Structural damage and/or building defects (including organising remedial works, liaising with loss adjusters/insurance companies)
  • Damp problems (including organising remedial works, liaising with loss adjusters/insurance companies)
  • Subsidence (establishing cause, dealing with mitigation, organising repairs and liaising with loss adjusters/insurance companies)

And the following additional services;

  • Full measured surveys and provision of supporting floor plans and elevations
  • Party Wall Surveying Services
  • Any additional type of surveying based inspection and advisory service

Our fees for this type of work would normally be based on an hourly rate plus disbursements or a percentage of the repairs cost, as appropriate.

Please note we do NOT undertake inspections and/or surveys in relation to property purchasing or mortgage arrangements. For this type of survey you should in the first instance speak to your mortgage provider.
